This Shell Rotella rebate offer is good for purchasing one or more of the following products in a single transaction with a limit of (1) rebate per person, household, or address for a total rebate of up to $40.
This rebate is the best I’ve seen if you are buying a one-gallon jug of Rotella. Jump on it if you need motor oil. The previous Shell rebate offered less than half the rebate amount. The best deal for Rotella T6 can usually be found at Walmart.

To submit your rebate, visit the Shell Rotella Rebate website.
Complete the online request form and upload your receipt as an image or PDF.
It can take up to 6 weeks to receive your digital gift card from Shell.

When choosing between mailing in a rebate or submitting it online, I highly recommend online submission. When I submitted a Shell Rotella rebate offer online on July 2, 2020, I received a rebate check dated July 14 that was in my mailbox on July 22. In a more recent rebate submission, I got an email with a link to the digital gift card on April 18 after submitting the rebate online on March 29, 2024.

Purchase must be made between February 15, 2024 and 11:59 PM Central Time on May 15, 2024. Online rebate submission must be made by 11:59 PM CT on May 31, 2024. Mail-in submissions must be postmarked by May 31, 2024 and received by June 14, 2024.
You must submit the original printed receipt for purchases made at retail locations if mailing in the rebate. Purchases made at an online retailer must include the order and shipping confirmation. Online submissions require a photo or scan of the receipt or order confirmation.

I’ve been using Shell Rotella T6 Synthetic engine oil for almost a decade in my motorcycle and I’ve been happy with the performance of the engine oil and the price.
Rotella T6 is a popular choice for many motorcyclists since it costs less than motorcycle-specific oils and meets the JASO MA & MA2 specification where the engine oil is used in the engine, gearbox, and clutch. Many car motor oils have friction modifiers that can cause clutch slippage.
Shell usually runs a Rotella rebate promotion for general retailers once a year. They also run rebate offers at farm retailers even more often. When combined with the rebate, Shell Rotella is a bargain for synthetic motor oil if you have a diesel engine or a powersport vehicle.
If you drive a gas vehicle and have a Costco membership, check out their fully synthetic Kirkland Signature motor oil if you are looking to save money. You can pick up a case of two 5-quart jugs at the warehouse for $38.99 or $39.99 online with shipping included. My local warehouse has started stocking 0W-20 which is used in many newer Honda and Toyota vehicles.

How does one submit by mail? What is the address, and does one need to get a form, and if so, from where if they don’t have a printer?
From what I’ve seen, there is a form you are supposed to fill out if you want to mail it in. Years ago, they used to have those in the stores by the shelves with the oil. Lately, I’ve seen them as PDF files you download and print out.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find a PDF of the current mail-in form. I do have the PO box, but that is useless if you don’t have the offer number you need to write on the envelope. I highly recommend you submit the rebate online. The submission is trackable on the website and I received my check within 3 weeks of online submission.
the forms were at the store you purchased the oil from. also it would of had to be a farm supply type store. i tried Walmart but they weren’t included.
why does rebates not work a wal-mart we buy it there
Shell runs rebate promotions for specific participating store locations so it must be purchased at that store. The farm retailer rebate is more frequent. From past experience, they will run a general rebate that includes stores like Walmart and Amazon once a quarter, and that is when you should stock up. Last year, that promotion was from March to June, so check back occasionally.
I bought 4 2.5 gallon bottles of Shell T-6 Rotella at North Forty Outfitters in Spokane, WA on Aug. 20, 2021 and submitted the rebate details and receipt picture shortly thereafter. My understanding was I was to be rebated $80.00 for this purchase. I have heard nothing as of this date (2/10/2022).
Anything I can do to move this along?

Hi George, you should have heard back from Shell a while ago, especially if you submitted it online. You can check the status of your rebate by going to http://www.shellrebatecenter.com/rotella or calling 1-866-707-6737.
According to the North 40 website, they were one of the participating retailers and the rebate was valid up till 12/31/2021.
So I just bought 4 2.5 gallon jugs of T6 on Monday because Family Farm and Home still had this promotion listed physically with their oil and the tag said 12/31/22 as end date. Not sure what to do now, I guess complain to the farm store.
Yeah, from the looks of it, Shell pulled the rebate in the middle of the year instead of running it until 12/31 as originally published. They even took down the rebate form from their website when it initially said people had until July 15 to submit the rebate online.
I guess you can either complain to the store, return all the oil, or return what you can’t use this year and see what promotions they run again in the future. The farm rebate one is usually available yearly.
Although T6 is plastered throughout this article, this rebate offer is ONLY good for T5. I learned the hard way, as my rebate submission was rejected. Yeah, I’m pissed.
That’s correct, Mike. The current rebate is for Rotella T5 and only for the qualifying sizes listed above and on the Shell rebate website. When this article was initially written, there were rebates for both T5 and T6.
The site was available a few days ago for the form. Now today it is GONE and the rebate has not ended yet. As today is 6/22/23.
How can I get the form to submit the purchase???
Try accessing the site again. It may have been a temporary issue since it works for me now. The last day online submissions are accepted for the current rebate offer is 7/15/2023, so the form should be online until at least then.
I want to send for my rebate by mail .. what is the proper address? I purchased the rotella at Fleet Farm, Oshkosh WI, but I cannot read the mailing address.
I would recommend calling the store where you purchased your oil to inquire. Rotella rebates seem to go to a PO Box in Houston, TX but you will need to include the specific Offer # in the address for each rebate
